we just don't rebuild - we soar

American Premium Vodka is dedicated to crafting exceptional Vodka that embodies the True American Spirit. What began as a bold idea from Gus, driven by passion and grit, has evolved into something even stronger. In 2022, Investor Terry and his leadership team nationwide joined the journey, bringing new energy and support at a pivotal moment. Together, they’ve helped shape the brand you see today — honoring the original mission while growing into a future-ready business built on shared values, creative innovation, and undeniable perseverance. Leadership may have evolved, but the heart of the brand beats stronger than ever.

this brand didn't pivot. it flew higher.

Why You’ll Cry (in a good way), and toast to the most

In a strategically timed move, American Premium Vodka debuts nationwide, providing a “made in America” option as an alternative to purchasing traditional Russian vodka.

“This is inexcusable,” Mark Gus Scott thought to himself when perusing a liquor aisle about five years ago, noticing there weren’t any vodka brands that “celebrate how great it is to be American.”

Mark Gus Scott was walking the aisles of a local drugstore looking for vodka, when he realized the United States was underrepresented. “I saw Smirnoff Ice, Stoli,” he says. “I did not see one American brand."

In 2013, Arizona Legionnaire Lars Peterson was watching what had become an annual event in Tempe: Pat’s Run, a 4.2-mile run/walk that raises funds for the Pat Tillman Foundation’s Tillman Scholars. That’s when Peterson became involved, though almost self-mockingly so.

“The efforts we all make as members of the legion breed something special throughout our communities and pay special tribute to our real American heroes — our veterans.

"Developing true American “spirit” with Iowa corn, Spencer native Terry Cook and Mark Gus Scott hope veterans programs will benefit from the sale of their American Premium Vodka."

that's the way ah huh

Below are some of the most common (and honestly, kind of legendary) questions we get from new customers curious about what makes our American vodka so damn good. From how we craft it, to why you'll probably tell your friends about it, to who you should raise your glass to when you take that first smooth sip — we've got answers. So whether you're here for the tasting notes, the bottle aesthetics, or to figure out if it's “really that good” (spoiler: it is), scroll on.

HOW WE MAKE IT

Every bottle of our vodka starts with premium American ingredients — grown, harvested, and distilled right here in the USA. We don’t outsource quality, and we don’t cut corners.

It’s distilled to perfection using time-honored techniques (plus a few of our own), filtered until it’s smoother than your uncle’s pickup lines at a barbecue, and bottled with pride.

It’s smooth. It’s bold. It’s unapologetically American.

Whether you’re sipping it straight or mixing it into your favorite cocktail, this vodka shows up. It doesn’t burn going down, doesn’t leave regrets behind, and somehow makes you feel like you could wrestle a bald eagle and win.

Taste-tested by bartenders, veterans, and people with really strong opinions — and still undefeated.

You’ll open the box, stare at the bottle, and mutter, “Damn, that’s clean.”

Then you’ll pour your first glass, take a sip, and understand why this isn’t just vodka — it’s a statement.

Whether you’re stocking a bar cart, sending a gift, or fueling a night with friends, you’ll wish you had ordered two.

Before you sip, take a second.

This vodka exists because of the freedom to build, distill, and create boldly — and that’s something we don’t take lightly.

We raise our glass to the veterans who made that freedom possible. Every bottle is a quiet thank-you to those who served.

This is American-made vodka, built on American-made sacrifice.
Cheers to them. Always.
